redesign of the iranbroker trading platform
IranBroker is a brokerage and trading platform used by thousands of traders every day. I led a full product redesign — rethinking how complex financial data, real-time market movement and trust signals come together into an interface people can actually think inside.
The Challenge
Trading interfaces live and die by density. Too little and traders feel blind; too much and every screen becomes noise. The legacy platform had grown feature by feature until the hierarchy collapsed — critical actions buried, real-time data competing with static chrome, and a trust gap that made new users hesitate before their first order.
The Approach
I started from the trader's job, not the feature list. Mapping the core flows — watchlist, order ticket, portfolio, funding — I rebuilt the information architecture around moments of decision. A dedicated design system gave every number, state and alert a consistent voice, so density became legible instead of loud. Prototypes were tested against real trading sessions, not happy paths.
The Outcome
The redesigned platform reads as one product instead of a stack of features. Order flows are faster to complete, real-time data has room to breathe, and the visual language now signals the reliability a financial product has to earn. The design system keeps scaling as new instruments and markets come online.
